Super Future blesses us this morning with his self titled album Future. The album stands at 17 tracks and is a lot to slog though at times but a major standout is the glossy and glitzy banger “Draco”. Future is inspired by Soulja Boy (as we all are) as the title and flexing content of the song are very Soulja adjace. Listen below.

Herbo and Bibby are planning to drop their collaborative album No Limitations this year and they are building massive amounts of anticipation by dropping cray singles like “Blackin Out” and now the slapper “Got Em Sick”. Bibby and Herb have the tightest chemistry in the game to me and they flow perfectly over the dark trap instrumental. Listen below.
Barfest Incoming!
In this new era of the “lil” rappers one has to appreciate more those who stick closer to the traditional form of rapping set by the forefathers of the art form. Most rapper today don’t have bars and thats ok, but Don Q, Dave East and G Herbo definitely do and they showcase their lyrical skills on a mean mafia like instrumental. No hook needed. Listen below.

Xavier dropped the video for the hottest track from his “Tundra Boy 2” mixtape. “Cold Front” is a banger and the Col Bennet directed video does the song justice. Watch below.

The Buffet boys deliver a visual to the recently released banger “Middle of The Mall”. Its a low budget affair and the video or song lacks none for it.

Thug and 21 are on the HiHorsed Tour along with Divine Council and it seems they have been cooking up together along the way. Thug posted this snippet with the caption “petty’ so I assumed it was the title. The song seems to riff off of 21’s classic “Issa knife” quotable from his DJVlad interview a while back. The shit sounds fucking incredible. Peep it below.

Cudderisback.
While 2016 has been a very up and down year for Cudi he seems to be on the way back up after dealing with his depression. If anything is a sign that Cudi is feeling good its the quality and feel good vibe of so many tracks on this amazing album. While most of Cudi’s work post “Man on The Moon” 1 and 2 and “Indicud” has been very experimental and left of center from his original sound, this album sounds like an evolution of those sounds. There more melodic humming on this album than ever and I can’t get enough. Standouts for me are “By Design” ft Andre 3000, “ILLusions”, “Rose Golden”, “Frequency”, “Surfin” and I’m sure after more listens more tracks will grow on me. Its fuckin Cudi man.

Cole has released the date for his upcoming album “4 Your Eyez Only”. The dat Dec 9th dates the two year anniversary of his last classic release “2014 Forrest Hills Drive”. The 40 minute documentary of the same name has been released on Tidal and hold two videos for tracks on the upcoming project, this tracks being “Everybody Gotta Die” and “False Prophets(Be Like This)”. On these records Cole expresses his distaste for many of the younger generations rappers as well as provide commentary on the god Kanye’s mental space. Many publications have taken this as a diss but I listened to it as a commentary on how a hero to most all rappers has fallen from grace and needs help finding his way back. Peep the beginning of another classic Cole project below.
