I Don’t Rap I Paint Pictures

Kodaks debut album Painting Pictures is one of the most consistent albums I’ve ever heard with a track list over 13 songs. With artist’s like Kodak you usually expect quantity over quality, but the man came with both for his first album. There are very few skipping points on “Painting Pictures” and one of the tracks you can’t pass over is “Off The Land”. Listen below.

Kodak just released his debut album from behind bars and a major standout from Painting Pictures is the hard hitting yet soulful track “U Aint Never”. I have been freaking out over this joint for a while as he teased it on IG before he violated his probation. Listen below

Lets goooooo. Just moments ago the legend known as K.Dot dropped a new single and video for the banger “Humble”. Kendrick tackles the contemporary flow (dud duh duh duh/aye) and of course being the god MC that he is, elevates it to extraordinary heights. I love it when rappers like Kendrick put the social commentary to the side a bit and just t’up. His next project drops April 7th. This is going to be a hot summer. Watch below.

The Cool Kids “TV Dinner”

There are few rappers who were as ahead of their time as Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish were during the inception of The Cool Kids. So it is only fitting that they reunited last summer and announced a new album Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe. They have been rolling out singles like “Running Man” and “Connect 4” patiently since summer and today we get another heater in the form of “TV Dinner”. Listen below.

Tha Chasers

Meek is getting ready to drop the follow up to the excellent DC4 with the aptly named DC4.5. A snippet has surfaced of a track titled “We Ball” featuring Young Thug. From the 45 second clip you can tell the song is a somber ode to all of the people close to Meek that he has lost like Lil Snupe, and Dex Osama and the reason why he flex’s his riches so hard is in honor of them. Watch the clip below.
