The Bad Newz Boyz are bubbling out of Atlanta right now and I feel privileged to be on to them so early because these niggas clearly got it. Just Leek and RIPXL are not slowing up after the release of BNB earlier this year and keep the applying pressure with this new single and video for “Get Ya Issue”. The record is a certified slap while the video is a bit regular compared to their others, its an overall great beginning to the roll out of another stellar project. Watch the video below and make sure you get in tune with the Bad Newz Boyz now so you can tell your friends “I liked them before they blew up”.

J.I.D ft J.Cole “Off Deez”

G.O.M.D

Atlanta native and Dreamville signee J.I.D has been making tons of noise over the past few years that has landed him on the XXL Freshman list with an incredible standout freestyle. Off this new crop of MC’s J.I.D is clearly the most lyrically able and he shows off his skill again along side Cole on “Off Deez”. Production surprisingly comes from Chasethemoney the orchestrator behind street acts like Valee and Z Money.  It’s great to hear such high level bars over grimy, booming production like this. Take a listen below.

Wolf has been instrumental in the rises of artists like Hoodrich Pablo Juan and Lil Pump and now he lends his talents to fellow ATlien 6 Dogs. A standout from the 7 track effort has got to be the lead off track “Full Throttle. Listen below.

Uno The Activist “So Simple” prod by Harry Fraud

Uno Switches Up the Swag

So Simple.jpg

Well no one saw this coming, Uno is a pretty good example for what the modern rapper sounds and looks like, and Fraud has all the elements of a traditional 90’s style, producer. These two coming together is coming totally out of left field. Harry is known for his instrumental part in the rise of French Montana now he blesses newcomer Uno wiht his signature sampled production. Uno sounds like a cross between Lou Rawls and Lil Wayne on this record mixing bars and melody in ways I have never heard before. Listen below.

Lil Baby “Never Needed Help”

One Of the Hottest Out of the ATL

QC seems to have a fault proof formula for building up talent and nurturing that artist so they become they best they can be. They did it with Yachty and Migos and Lil Baby is definitely no exception. He already has two certified hits under his belt with “My Dawg” and “Freestyle”. “Never Needed Help” feels like and extension of those records especially “Freestyle”. Baby has his melodies on point and this track is just another excellent example. Listen below.
