Wah Gwan?
At first listen Cochise may seem like a Playboi Carti soundalike but there is a lot more to the high pitched whines of the ATL native. The high pitched auto tuned is what makes many draw comparisons to baby voice carti, but I would say Cochise has a lot more lyrical dexterity when it comes to the bars and flows and focusing on just the tone of his voice takes away from enjoying the music. Cochise’s music also separates itself with stellar beat selection and really creative anime inspired videos. Standouts for me include “Hatchback”, “Knicks”, “Usopp”, and “Lost It” among others.
