Injury Reserve is an Arizona hip hop trio composed of rappers Steppa J Groggs, Ritchie With a T, and producer Parker Corey. I was turned on to them by a Needledrop review of their debut project Live From The Dentists Office, and was inspired to write this in light of their amazing new project Floss. The group’s music leans more towards the lane of traditional hip hop but is not without the quirky, nerdiness that the personalities of Steppa J and Rithie exude. The group is on the major come up having received cosigns from the likes of Chuck Inlgish and Vic Mensa Standouts for me include “Oh Shit”, “All This Money”. Listen below.
